Soldier: (Utah) is a 6 year old Heeler/Border Collie/ Rottie mix. She is great with kids and loves to get attention. She is crate trained and knows how to sit. She likes to run but does not go far. She would make anyone a great house companion. She has come so far with her friendliness and has come out of her shell so much that she just needs to find some one willing to give her the chance to shine. If you are willing to come see her and see how she just wins your heart, call Trudi at 801-604-4966 3/8/2008

Boomer: (Maryland) is a 12 year old male neutered purebred lab who was owner surrendered into rescue.  His hips are beginning to hurt him, so he needs a forever home without stairs.  He is housebroken and gets along well with other dogs.  He is fascinated with our cat, and chases her whenever he gets the opportunity.  For being 12 years old, this gentleman has a lot of get up and go!  His eyesight is diminishing, but he sees the cat quite well. He gets along with children.  He loves going for rides in the car.  He is up to date on everything, and will make someone a wonderful companion. 6/8/2007

Rosie: (Oregon) is almost 2yrs old, she abounds with energy, and has been through a 4 week inboard training session so she is very smart (don't lets those big sullen eyes lie to you). eager to please , and tries very hard to be right. She is spayed and current on all her shots. Her trainer has said that she is in her element when she is working, she needs lots of room to run, maybe a ranch??? I don't know how she would react to farm animals because she has never tried this yet. Additionally I don't know how she would interact with younger children because she has lived in an adult home. She loves to chase the family cats( its seems she thinks this is a doggy sport) and in hot pursuit has never harmed one; I think she likes the noise they make. I truly believe she is baby huey in dogs fur, she has no concept how large she really is. What she doesn't like is things being taken from her mouth, and she doesn't like anyone looking into her mouth. She doesn't quite grasp the concept of fetch, she usually thinks you have given her a prize and wont give it back. My mother is her owner, and is 76 years old, just had a second knee replacement with ongoing osteoporosis, and is unable to continue caring for her. Rosie is currently living in a kennel and would love to have a new home. 6/12/2005
