Monty: is a 3 year old neutered male. He is just a really nice boy that is very laid back and well behaved. Monty is one of those dogs that you just can’t help but fall in love with. Monty was originally adopted from a New York City shelter. The people whom adopted him from the shelter said he was very thin and sad looking. You can imagine how hard this is on Monty who finally believed he was in his forever home only to be once again losing the only security he has known. Unfortunately his new owner was a stay at home mom who now works long hours and feels that Monty deserves someone in his life who can spend more time with him. His favorite things are long car rides and a nap by his beloved human’s feet. He gets along well with dogs of all sizes but cats are unknown at this time. Monty lived with a 3 year old and thought she was kind of neat. He was very gentle with her so he should be good with younger children  He walks well on a leash and is just an all around cutie pie. Monty is limping on his right rear leg so rescue will be checking it out to see what is wrong with it. 5/4/2008

Max:
is a year old male that is soon to be neutered. Anyone that wants a dog that will relax with them and nap at their feet need not apply. This young-un is looking for action and is like a bull in a china cabinet. He knows his commands but is way too busy playing to take the time to listen. He just wants to play, play, play and when you think he is tired he is ready to play just one more time. Max definitely needs someone in his life that is up-beat and on the go. He likes other dogs but doesn’t understand why they just won’t wrestle with him. He will whine and wiggle all over with that twinkle in his eye that says, come on let’s rumble!“ Cats are unknown at this time but Max was raised with a child that was 2. Believe it or not he was very gentle with her. He instinctively knew she was little tyke and was very careful whenever she was near.

Julius: is a rough coat neutered male. Even though he is 10 years old he still acts like a youngster. He gets along well with other dogs but cats are unknown at this time. Julius has always lived with his owner and has had a wonderful life so the poor guy is confused as to why he has lost the only life he has ever known. With great regret his beloved owner's health issues gave him no alternative but to put Julius into rescue. This lovely boy wants so badly to have a special person in his life once again. Someone that he will be able to give kisses to and lay at his feet as the day is closing to an end. Julius deserves as special of a life in his senior years as he has had in his youth. Hopefully you will be that selfless person out there with a huge heart that can give Julius what he deserve before he crosses over rainbow bridge. 4/19/2008
